John Schabacker
President & Owner
John has owned and operated Mile Hi Express since 1995. He spent twenty years in the investment banking business before entering the wonderful world of trucking.. In 1993 he got the itch to become self employed. The Mile Hi Express opportunity was brought to him by a good friend in the industry, and for the most part, the rest is history. Honesty, integrity, accountability and loyalty are some of the attributes that John continued to instill within Mile Hi Express as these were the four ideals he abided by during his professional career! For those of you who have done business with John….I’m sure you understand. In June of 2007, he brought his son, Brit Schabacker (me…yes, I’m typing this), into the business as a sales/marketing/ business development employee. I’ve spent 10 years in commercial real estate and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work with my mentor... along with the opportunity to eventually own my own business! Over time, John will slowly step to the side as I eventually assume responsibility for the business.
Diana Troute
Comptroller/ Operations Manager
Diana has been with Mile Hi Express for over 7 years. If you looked up “multi-task” in the dictionary, it would have a picture of Diana. She helps with the daily operations of the company, financial statements, invoicing, reporting, making appointments, marketing, giving directions and answering a quandary of random questions. Talk about the “old work ethic,” she fits the mold...and is a VERY important person within the Mile Hi Express family. We are very lucky to have someone who simply “cares”.
Linda Hanson
Get’R- Done
Linda has been with Mile Hi Express for 4 months. She previsously worked in the shipping department for Coleman Natural Foods. She was a valued employee with Coleman for 14 years. Unfortunately, when Coleman's red meat division was sold in June of 2008 to Meyer Natural Angus, Linda was out of a job. Linda was a valued point of conatct for Mile Hi Express as we did a lot of business within the Coleman red meat division. We were able to "snatch" her up over here at Mile Hi Express where she now works in our office taking phone calls, making appointments and invoicing. We are very glad to have Linda on our team.
Sharon Dowhan
Get’R- Done
Sharon Dowhan retired from Mile Hi Express in September of 2008. She worked here for over 30 years. We were all sad to see her go, but happy to see her have an opportunity to hang out with her family and, specifically, her grand children.
